Software is the backbone of most tech startups but when it comes to ownership, valuation and IP strategy, too many founders are flying blind.
Kingsley Napley is kicking off a new series of Tech Law Breakfast Briefings to unpack the legal questions that actually matter to fast-growth companies. First up: the legal and commercial realities of software as an asset.
Our speakers Christopher Perrin (Partner at Kingsley Napley) and Jonathan Rich (Director at Bluebox) will explore:
- Who really owns your code, and how English law sees it
- Why clean IP is non-negotiable for raising or selling
- How to value software assets in commercial and legal contexts
- What smart licensing, monetising and protection strategies look like in 2025
Founders, entrepreneurs, investors, GCs and legal advisors — this one’s for you!
Register today, seats are limited.
